Our secret? For instance, the 100% natural produce from our own garden!

During your first breakfast at the Hotel Zollner, you will be amazed at the delicious taste of the jam and the fruit juices. The secret is in the transport routes – or rather, the lack of them. The produce we serve usually travels a distance of exactly zero kilometres to our breakfast buffet. Take our jams as an example: only the best fruits from our garden are made into sweet jam by our kitchen staff, without any use of chemicals whatsoever. The result: freshness you can taste.

But not just strawberries, raspberries and blackberries find their way into our kitchen. If you look at our menu, you will constantly stumble across ingredients that grow in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. For instance, between June and October, our lettuce comes exclusively from our garden, as do many other vegetables. Courgettes, pumpkins, celery and much more – all home-grown during their respective seasons. This is our contribution to nature preservation. We think that using vegetables that have travelled thousands of miles makes no sense when you have so much choice nearby. Our herbal garden provides us with kitchen herbs all year round: chives, loveage, parsley, dill, thyme, rosemary and basil are just a few examples of our varied herbal selection.
But that’s not all: we also have our own fish pond, where char swim in crystal-clear, fresh mountain water from our own spring. If you want to, you are welcome to catch your own dinner. You are also more than welcome to take a closer look at our garden.
