Host & Team
As you can tell by the name, the hotel is run by the Zollner family who know exactly what is important to their guests – and this knowledge is reflected throughout the facility.
The building of the hotel is over 400 years old and has been transformed many times over the course of the centuries – most notably from the house of the estate manager of the Dietrichstein family into the cosy, lovingly maintained Hotel Zollner; it has seen the world move from the legend-shrouded Middle Ages (nowhere more so than in Carinthia) to the modern-day era, in which Carinthia – more than ever – stands for untouched nature, holidays, hospitality and culinary delights.
But progress didn’t just take place in the world outside the building – it also found its way into the Hotel Zollner. History took place within its walls – and it still does today, at least in the eyes of our guests, who range from gourmets to wedding guests or nature enthusiasts who have found their perfect home away from home in our facility.
We, the Zollner family, have run this hotel for generations, much loved not just by our regular guests, but also by new arrivals who appreciate its natural approach and down-to-earth traditions, while still leaving nothing to be desired in terms of modern creature comforts. This is where tradition meets the modern world, and we promise that we will always try to fulfil all your wishes. Our many years’ experience helps us to make your stay in the hotel as pleasant as possible. After all, your holiday should not just be the most relaxing time of the year, but also the most fulfilling on every level. You deserve nothing less.
Enjoy a holiday in our hotel, nestled between majestic Carinthian mountains, crystal-clear lakes with water pure enough to drink and the unspoilt natural setting between Villach and Lake Faak. We are looking forward to welcoming you in one of the most beautiful natural regions that the South of Austria has to offer. We hope to see you soon – please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
